DONGGALA. YMM Freeport Peduli provided logistical assistance to victims of the Central Sulawesi earthquake and tsunami. The logistical assistance was distributed by Rumah Zakat Volunteers on Monday afternoon (10/15). 8 volunteers were deployed to the field to distribute logistical aid, the plan of YMM Freeport would be to distribute aid sustainably.
YMM Freeport Peduli distributes logistics package assistance to the Tipo Terminal Command Post, Kec. Ulujadi, Kab. Donggala which is inhabited by 220 refugees, the logistical assistance provided includes Rice, Mineral Water, Snacks, and Mats.
Mr. Ruji Muhali, the earthquake and tsunami victim told the chronology when the earthquake hit.
“When the earthquake happened, I was at home quickly and my family left the house and we ran to the up hill. We saw from afar that the sea water hit people’s homes. We did not have time to save property, this is the clothes attached to the body that was carried away. Alhamdulillah, my family survived the disaster, “he said.
“We are very grateful for the help of donator and volunteers. I represent People of Palu thanked you for the help from YMM Freeport Peduli, this is very helpful for us” added Mr. Ruji Muhali.
