GUNUNGKUDUL, (25/11) – Gunungkidul adalah salah satu kabupaten di Yogyakarta yang kerap mengalami kekeringan ketika musim kemarau tiba. Tak terkecuali di Dusun Glagah, Desa Nglegi, Kecamatan Patuk, kondisi tanahnya tandus dan sulit mencari sumber air bersih untuk kebutuhan hidup sehari-hari.
Berkat wakaf dari Ibu Soejati, melalui program wakaf sumber air Rumah Zakat bekerja sama dengan Omah Sinau menyalurkan bantuan berupa wakaf sumur dan infrastruktur sumber air bersih bagi warga Dusun Glagah pada hari Senin, 25 November 2019. Para donatur yang tergabung dalam komunitas Omah Sinau memiliki kegiatan Gerbu (Gerakan Seminggu Seribu), dimana ibu-ibu menyisihkan uangnya seminggu seribu rupiah dan turut serta dalam gerakan wakaf sumber air.
Saat ini wakaf sumur tersebut memberikan manfaat untuk 75 KK (200 jiwa), dua masjid, dan satu TK untuk tiga desa di satu kecamatan. Sebelum adanya bantuan sumur, para wali murid di TK Quatul Islam bergantian menyediakan air bersih dengan mengisi bak mandi sekolah untuk keperluan anak-anak. Mereka harus menempuh jarak sejauh 2 KM untuk sampai ke sumber air. Alhamdulillah setelah sumur ada, kini air bersih bisa langsung mengalir ke bak-bak mandi dan tidak perlu piket lagi.
Segenap warga Dusun Glagah mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Rumah Zakat atas wakaf sumur dan infrastruktur air bersih di kampung mereka. Para donatur yang turut hadir dalam acara peresmian tersebut mengaku terharu dan bersyukur karena masih bisa membantu saudara sesama Muslim yang membutuhkan. Semoga amal kebaikan para donatur mendapat balasan terbaik di sisi Allah SWT dan mengalirkan manfaat tak terputus bagi para penerima manfaat.

GUNUNGKUDUL, (11/25) – Gunungkidul is one of the regencies in Yogyakarta that often experiences drought when the dry season arrives. No exception in Glagah Hamlet, Nglegi Village, Patuk district. The condition of the land is barren and it is difficult to find a source of clean water for daily living needs.
Thanks to the waqf from Soejati, through the Waqf program of Rumah Zakat collaborating with Omah Sinau to channel aid in the form of waqf wells and clean water infrastructure for residents of Glagah Hamlet on Monday, November 25, 2019. Donors who are members of the Omah Sinau community have a Gerbu (Thousand Week Movement) activity, where mothers set aside a week of one thousand rupiahs and participate in the waqf movement water sources.
At present, the endowment of the well provides benefits for 75 families (200 people), two mosques, and one kindergarten for three villages in one sub-district. Before the help of the well, the guardians of students at the Quatul Islam Kindergarten took turns providing clean water by filling the school’s bathtub for the children’s needs. They have to travel a distance of 2 KM to get to the water source. Alhamdulillah after the well was present, clean water could flow directly into the bathtubs and there was no need for picket anymore.
All Glagah Hamlet residents thanked Rumah Zakat for the endowments of the wells and clean water infrastructure in their village. The donors who were present at the inauguration ceremony admitted that they were touched and grateful that they were still able to help their fellow Muslims who were in need. Hopefully, the good deeds of the donors get the best reply in the sight of Allah SWT and flow uninterrupted benefits for the beneficiaries.
