BANDUNG. Muhammad Zaenal Arifin lahir dengan kelainan jantung yang sempat mengancam nyawanya. Jantungnya tidak berfungsi dengan baik dikarenakan organ jantung bilik kiri bayi tersebut sangat kecil, sehingga kinerja jantungnya tidak optimal. Selain itu, saluran pembuluh darah yang menghubungkan jantung untuk mensuplai oksigen dan darah tidak tumbuh, sehingga menghambat sirkulasi dan asupan oksigen ke organ lainnya.
Kondisi tersebut membuat bayi Arif harus menjalani perawatan intensif dan beberapa kali harus melakukan operasi bedah jantung. Meskipun usianya belum genap satu tahun, akan tetapi dokter menyarankan untuk mengambil tindakan operasi jantung yang dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali, yakni pada usia sekarang, usia 6 Bulan sampai 1 tahun dan saat usia 4 tahun. Biaya operasi tersebut tidaklah murah, setiap satu kali operasi diperkirakan bisa menghabiskan dana sebesar Rp 100.000.000. Biaya tersebut belum termasuk biaya obat dan perawatan intensif yang harus dijalani Arif.
Bayi Arif lahir dari keluarga sederhana, ayahnya merupakan seorang buruh harian lepas dengan penghasilan yang tidak menentu. Maka dari itulah Rumah Zakat menggalang donasi untuk meringankan biaya operasi dan perawatan Arif.
Saat dipublikasikan oleh Rumah Zakat mengenai kampanye donasi untuk Arif pada akhir bulan Februari lalu, sampai saat ini donasi telah terkumpul sebesar Rp. 390.000.000 yang diperoleh dari zakat dan infaq melalui Rumah Zakat. Dana yang telah dikumpulkan akan digunakan untuk membantu biaya pengobatan Arif yang tidak sepenuhnya dicover oleh BPJS.
Senin, (06/03), Arif telah menjalani operasi jantung tahap satu oleh tim dokter di Rumah Sakit Cipto Mangunkusumo (RSCM). Secara keseluruhan operasi berjalan dengan lancar, hingga sampai saat ini kini kondisi Arif semakin membaik dengan adanya tanda-tanda mulai siuman.
Saat ini Arif masih dirawat di RSCM di bawah penanganan dokter spesialis. Kondisi kesehatannya mulai membaik, jantungnya kini dapat berfungsi meskipun belum 100 persen normal. Organ tubuh Arif, terutama jantungnya sudah dapat mulai berfungsi, meskipun masih membutuhkan beberapa peralatan medis untuk menunjang kehidupannya. Perawatan Arif akan terus diupayakan hingga ia dapat hidup normal seperti bayi-bayi lainnya.

His heart is not functioning properly because of the cardiac left ventricle of the baby is very small, so performance of his heart is not optimal. Additionally, the blood vessels that connect the heart to supply oxygen and blood cannot grow, hampering circulation and oxygen supply to other organs.
Such conditions create Arif must undergo intensive treatment and several times had to perform open-heart surgery. Despite his age, less than one year, but the doctor advised to take measures heart surgery done 3 times, namely in the present age, the age of 6 months to 1 year old and at the age of 4 years. The surgery costs are not cheap, for one time surgery the cost is estimated to be spent Rp 100,000,000. Cost does not include the cost of medication and intensive care for Arif.
Arif was born to a modest family, his father is a casual worker with irregular income. Because of that Rumah Zakat House raised donations to offset the cost of surgery and Arif’s treatment.
When published by Rumah Zakat on campaign donations for Arif on the late of February, so far donations have been collected is Rp390 million obtained from zakat and infaq through Rumah Zakat. Funds that have been collected will be used to help Arif’s medical expenses that were not fully covered by BPJS.
Monday (06/03), Arif had undergone the first stage of heart surgery by a team of doctors at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM). On the whole the surgery went smoothly, up until this moment now Arif condition improved with signs began to wake up.
Arif is currently still being treated at the RSCM under the care of a specialist. His health began to improve, the heart can now function although not 100 percent normal. Arif body organs, especially the heart can begin to function, although it still requires some medical equipment to support. Arif’s care will continue to be pursued until he is able to live a normal life like other babies.[:]
