BANDUNG. Senin, (17/04) SMP Juara Bandung menyelenggarakan USBN (Ujian Sekolah Berstandar Nasional) hari pertama dengan mata pelajaran PAI (Pendidikan Agama Islam). Ujian yang diikuti oleh sekitar 47 siswa tersebut berjalan dengan lancar. Lembar Jawaban Komputer (LJK) akan diperiksa oleh mesin pemindai dari Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bandung, sedangkan lembar jawaban uraian akan diperiksa manual oleh pihak sekolah.
Ujian Sekolah Berstandar Nasional (USBN) pertama kali dilaksanakan tahun ajaran 2007/2008 oleh Dinas Pendidikan Nasional (Depdiknas) hingga sekarang ini. Mata pelajaran yang diujikan pada USBN berbeda dengan mata pelajaran yang diujikan pada Ujian Nasional (UN).
Peserta USBN adalah siswa yang berada di jenjang tingkat akhir dari satuan pendidikan, mulai dari SD, SMP, SMA atau SMK, semuanya berkewajiban mengikuti ujian tersebut. “USBN ini secara teknis dilimpahkan kepada Pemerintah Kabupaten Kota dan teknis operasional juga dilimpahkan pada sekolah masing-masing,” jelas Kepala Dinas Kota Bandung, Elih Sudiapermana. Di sisi lain, mengenai soal ujian Elih mengatakan bahwa 25% adalah hasil penyusunan dari Kementrian Pendidikan dan 75% dari dinas pendidikan.

National Standard School Exam (USBN) was first conducted in 2007/2008 by the Department of National Education until now. Subjects tested in USBN are different with the subjects tested on the National Examination (UN).
USBN participants are students who are in the final level of the unit level of education, from elementary school, junior high school or vocational school, everyone is obliged to take the test. “This USBN is technically delegated to the City District Government and operational techniques are also delegated to the respective school,” explains Head of Bandung Education department, Elih Sudiapermana. On the other hand, the exam Elih said that 25% is the result of the preparation of the Ministry of Education and 75% of the education department.
