BOGOR. RZ mengembangkan PHBS (Pola Hidup Bersih dan Sehat) melalui Posyandu Lansia di wilayah Ciherang, Bogor. Pemeriksaan rutin yang dilakukan oleh RZ setiap bulan ini dilakukan untuk memantau kesehatan masyarakat lanjut usia di wilayah tersebut.
“Meski dekat dengan perkotaan, tapi masyarakat di sini tidak terlalu sadar akan pentingnya kesehatan mereka sendiri. Oleh karena itu RZ berusaha hadir untuk mengenalkan pola hidup sehat kepada mereka,” kata Agusti Firman, Relawan RZ Bogor, Rabu (28/09).
Kegiatan Posyandu Lansia di Bogor sudah dirintis sejak tahun 2009. Saat ini sudah ada 70 orang warga yang memeriksakan kesehatannya secara rutin di Posyandu Lansia RZ.
“RZ memang sudah biasa membuat acara pengobatan gratis rutin di sini. Biasanya saya selalu ikutan periksa dan pulangnya dapat obat,” kata Marni, salah satu pasien yang berusia lebih dari 60 tahun.
Selain kegiatan Posyandu Lansia, RZ juga mengembangkan kegiatan lainnya untuk menerapkan PHBS. Beberapa program tersebut diantaranya senam sehat dan kebun sayur yang juga banyak diminati oleh warga.

“Even the area is close with the city, but the people here are not too aware of the importance of their own health. Therefore RZ present to introduce a healthy lifestyle to them” said Agusti Firman, Volunteer of RZ Bogor, Wednesday (09/28).
Posyandu Elderly in Bogor has been initiated since 2009. Currently there are 70 people who regularly check their health in RZ Elderly Posyandu.
“It is common for RZ to make free treatment routine here. Usually I always check my health here and the return home with medicine” said Marni, one of the patients over the age of 60 years.
In addition to the Posyandu Elderly, RZ also develop other activities to implement PHBs. Some of the programs include healthy exercise and vegetable gardens are also much in demand by the residents.
