RZ Pekanbaru diundang sebagai pembicara dalam kegiatan pertemuan kader lingkungan dan PKK kelurahan Tebing Tinggi Okura yang berlangsung di Aula kelurahan Tebing tinggi okura. Pada kegiatan ini turut hadir juga pak Burhan selaku Lurah tebing tinggi okura serta ibu-ibu kader lingkungan dan PKK yang berada dalam wilayah kelurahan Tebing Tinggi Okura.
Acara kali ini dibuka oleh pak Burhan selaku lurah tebing tinggi okura sekaligus menyampaikan himbauan dan sosialisasi PAWAKO NO.19 TH 2015 tentang pos pelayanan terpadu (posyandu) di Pekanbaru, kemudian dilajutkan acara inti yaitu penyampaian materi oleh RZ Pekanbaru mengenai pengelolaan sampah yang ada di lingkungan serta urban farming dengan media tanam hidroponik kemudian diakhiri dengan diskusi dengan ibu-ibu kader lingkungan dan PKK kel. “Kegiatan pertemuan kali ini dihadiri sekitar 62 orang warga dan diluar ekspektasi saya, semoga antusias warga ini adalah bentuk dari kepedulian warga terhadap lingkungan terutama di okura ini,” ujar Salmawati yang juga ibu RW 04 Kelurahan Tebing Tinggi Okura.***

PEKANBARU. Wednesday (15/4), RZ was invited by the local government to present the benefits of Waste Bank before the environmental cadres of Tebing Tinggi Okura Village.
In this opportunity, Branch Manager of RZ Pekanbaru, Resti Hartanti, explained that waste Bank program is initiated to civilize clean and healthy lifestyle. Through this program, the member of waste bank will be invited to sort waste in several category namely organic wastes, inorganic wastes, and residue.
In addition, the member of Waste bank Community will be introduced to the various types of waste and how to sort and manage them. They are also will be trained to produce valuable product by recycling waste.
Since waste becomes one of main environmental problems that must be solved immediately, an effective waste management system also can support the government’s program in creating a comfortable and clean environment.
“There are 62 persons who joined in this seminar. Hopefully, after the seminar, they could participate and contribute in the implementation of waste bank,” Salmawati, a public figure of Okura, said. ***
