MAJALAYA (25/06). Six volunteers of Rumah Zakat Bandung are deployed to conduct clean water distribution for three villages in Majalaya sub-district affected by Flood due to high rainfall. The three villages are Kampung Kondang RW 10, RW 07 Kampung Emper in Majalaya Village, Kampung Lewidulang RW 02 in Sukamaju Village and continued in Majasetra village, the point is the nearest location of the river.
“Clean water is necessary because most of the power goes out, water line from government also dies, the water pump is submerged and the residents’ wells become turbid, “said Rumah Zakat’s Volunteer, Nur Latifah.
The residents were very enthusiastic when Rumah Zakat team came to bring a clean water tank.
“Thanks to the team of Rumah zakat who already care to the Majestra villagers who have now experienced the disaster, clean water is very beneficial to the citizens” said Mr. Dadang Darajat as Chairman of Majasetra Majalaya Village.
