TEGAL. Dukuh Gayam adalah satu-satunya pedukuhan di Desa Banjaranyar yang “tertinggal” nyaris dalam segala bidang. Kondisi ini tercipta karena posisi Dukuh Gayam yang memang lumayan berjarak dari pusat desa. Akses jalan yang tidak ada penerangan serta belum beraspal semakin memperparah kondisi masyarakat di dukuh ini terutama dalam bidang pendidikan.
Untuk mengenyam pendidikan, anak-anak harus menempuh jarak yang tidak dekat menuju pusat desa. Bagi mereka yang belum memiliki kendaraan pribadi, perjalanan tersebut harus ditempuh dengan berjalan kaki karena tidak ada transportasi umum yang melalui dukuh ini. Hal inilah yang mempengaruhi tingkat pendidikan masyarakat di Dukuh ini menjadi rendah. Tidak hanya pada pendidikan formal, namun juga pada pendidikan non formal seperti TPQ.
Hampir sebagian besar masyarakat usia produktif tidak mampu membaca Al Quran terutama ibu-ibu. Kondisi ini membuat Miska selaku fasilitator desa berdaya menginisiasi program “Bebas Buta Al Quran” pada Kamis (30/11).
“Alhamdulillah karena bu guru, saya bisa belajar membaca Al Quran mesti sebenarnya malu karena sudah setua ini saya sama sekali belum bisa membaca Al Quran” ucap bu Rojah penuh syukur.
“Alhamdulillah meski hujan masih belum usai, hal itu tidak menghentikan semangat ibu-ibu untuk belajar Al Quran” Ucap Miska seraya tersenyum lega.

[:en]TEGAL. Gayam Hamlet is the only hamlet in the village of Banjaranyar that “left behind” almost in all areas. This condition is created because the position of Gayam Hamlet is indeed quite far from the center of the village. Access roads that have no illumination and asphalt further aggravate the condition of the community in Hamlet are mainly in the field of education.
For education, children must travel a long distance to the village center. For those who do not have a private vehicle, the journey must be taken on foot because there is no public transportation through this dukuh. This is what affects the level of community education in Dukuh is low, not only in formal education, but also in nonformal education such as TPQ.
Almost most of the productive age people are not able to read Al Quran especially mothers. This condition makes Miska as a facilitator of Rumah Zakat for Gayam empowered village initiated the program “Al Quran Blind Free” on Thursday (30/11).
“Alhamdulillah because of you (Miska as the teacher), I can learn to read Al Quran that should actually embarrassed because it is as old as this I have not been able to read the Al Quran” said bu Rojah gratefully.
“Alhamdulillah although the rain is still not over, it did not stop the spirit of the mothers to learn Al Quran” said Miska while smiling with relief.
