KAB.PONOROGO (3/8). Rumah Zakat Action bersama BPBD Kab. Ponorogo melakukan penyaluran air bersih pada warga terdampak kekeringan di di Dusun Jenggring, Desa Duri, Kec. Slahung, Kab. Ponorogo.
Desa ini merupakan desa yang mengalami kekeringan tiap tahunnya ketika musim kemarau. Di musim penghujan masyarakat Desa Duri memperoleh air dari sumber yang terletak di Wates. Tetapi di musim kemarau seperti ini, sumber tersebut tidak bisa mencukupi kebutuhan warga.
Akses yang sulit, dan jauhnya sumber air membuat warga Desa Duri bergantung terhadap kiriman air bersih. Mayoritas warga di Desa Duri berprofesi sebagai petani.
Sebanyak total 1.200 L air bersih telah didistribusikan ke 50 KK di RT 02 / RW 03 yang terbagi di 5 titik toren. Desa Duri ini merupakan satu diantara 24 titik kekeringan di Kab. Ponorogo (data BPBD Ponorogo tahun 2018).
Warga sangat berterima kasih kepada para relawan yang telah mengirimkan air bersih untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari warga.
“Terima kasih kami sudah dikirim air untuk kebutuhan kami, semoga para relawan dilapangkan rezekinya. Terimakasih Rumah Zakat,” tutur Pak Jumani (50 tahun) salah satu penerima manfaat air bersih.

Laila Istiqamah/Abdullah Tsabit[:en]PONOROGO DISTRICT (3/8). Rumah Zakat Action together with BPBD Ponorogo District distributes clean water to residents affected by drought in Jenggring Hamlet, Duri Village, Kec. Slahung, Kab. Ponorogo.
This village is a village that experiences drought each year during the dry season. In the rainy season, the people of Duri Village get their water source located in Wates (another sub-district). But in the dry season like this, these sources cannot meet the needs of the residents.
Difficult access and the distance of the water sources make Duri villagers dependent on clean water deliveries. The majority of residents in Duri Village work as farmers.
A total of 1,200 L of clean water has been distributed to 50 households in RT 02 / RW 03 which is divided into 5 toren (water tank) points. Duri Village is only one of the 24 drought villages in Ponorogo district (Ponorogo BPBD data for 2018).
The residents are very grateful to the volunteers who have sent the clean water for the daily needs of the residents.
“Thank you for sending clean water for our needs, may the volunteers be provided with lots of rizq (good fortune). Thank you Rumah Zakat,” said Mr. Jumani (50 years old) one of the beneficiaries of clean water.
