SEMARANG. In order to raise public awareness regarding Disaster handling, RZ Semarang Volunteer conducted Community Disaster Response education held in one of the disaster-prone area is located on Jl. Gombel Lama Tinjomoyo RT 03 RW 04, Semarang.
Activities carried out in the Masjid Baitul Istighfar Gombel on Tuesday (05/30), was attended by 35 residents. The citizens who attended were given a study on disaster.
The plan was chosen as the location of the target goal area of disaster response because this region is one of the areas prone to landslides involving the relevant agencies such as BPBDs and Basarnas.
“Youth organization that is long gone will be re-activate back so that the youth in reproductive age are also more aware of the importance of knowledge about the disaster” Reveal Irma Volunteer coordinator of RZ Semarang.
