PONOROGO. Pemerintah Kabupaten Ponorogo menetapkan status tanggap darurat selama 14 hari, mulai dari tanggal 2-15 April 2017. Operasi pencarian korban dibagi menjadi 3 sektor, yaitu sektor A yang dikoordinir oleh Basarnas, sektor B dikoordinir oleh Polri, sedangkan sektor C dikoordinir oleh TNİ.
Selain itu, relawan Rumah Zakat juga membantu evakuasi di sektor B bersama Brimob, SAR BPBD dan Potensi SAR lainnya.
“Pencarian korban tidak mudah, karena lokasi yang tertimbun longsor cukup luas. Material yang menimbun rumah dan korban akibat longsor sangat tebal di beberapa lokasi, bahkan ketebalannya mencapai 20 meter,” tutur Bagas, Koordinator Relawan Rumah Zakat untuk Aksi Peduli Bencana Longsor Ponorogo.
Banyak kendala yang menghambat proses evakuasi. Selain tingkat ketebalan longsor yang cukup tebal, curah hujan yang masih cukup tinggi, akses menuju lokasi yang sulit, hingga keterbatasan peralatan serta bahaya longsor susulan juga menjadi kendala dalam proses evakuasi. Sampai saat ini masih ada 26 korban yang belum berhasil ditemukan.

PONOROGO. Ponorogo’s government determined the status of the emergency response for 14 days, from March 2 to 15 April 2017. The victim search operation is divided into three sectors, sector A, coordinated by Basarnas, sector B coordinated by the police, while sector C coordinated by the military.
Besides that, volunteers of Rumah Zakat also assisted evacuation in sector B with Brimob, SAR BPBDs and other SAR Potential.
“The search for victims is not easy, because the location is quite spacious buried by landslides. Many obstacles hamper the evacuation process. Moreover the landslide is thick enough, rainfall is still high, difficult access to the site, to the limitations of the equipment as well as landslide subsequent danger is also an obstacle in the evacuation process. Until now there are 26 victims who have not been found.
