Dan jika sakit, maka penanganan hewan harus ada di tempat khusus atau kandang isolasi agar tidak menular kepada hewan lainnya,” jelas drh. Nikolas Nur Yulianto (44 th), Dokter hewan yang bertugas di Kecamatan Wonomerto sekaligus perwakilan Dinas Peternakan Kabupaten Probolinggo.
Hari Selasa kemarin (29/08), peternakan yang menjadi pusat produksi Superqurban di Desa Sepuh Gempol, Probolinggo memang kedatangan tim kesehatan dari Dinas Peternakan. Mereka memeriksa seluruh hewan yang akan diqurbankan termasuk kondisi kandangnya.
“Pemeriksaan kesehatan ini bertujuan untuk memastikan kebersihan kandang dan kesehatan hewan qurban sebelum hari raya Idul Adha,” ungkap drh. Nikolas. “Sehingga kita tahu apakah hewan ini layak untuk dikonsumsi atau tidak,” tambahnya.

On Tuesday (29/08), the health team from the Animal Husbandry Department came to the center of Superqurban production in Sepuh Gempol Village, Probolinggo. They checked all the animals that will be sacrificed including the condition of the cage.
“This health check aims to ensure the cleanliness of the cage and the health of qurbany animals before Idul Adha,” said drh. Nikolas. “So we know whether these animals are worth consuming or not,” he added.
