SURABAYA. duta.co – Kebun Gizi Binaan Rumah Zakat Surabaya yang berada di wilayah Kelurahan Jemurwonosari Kecamatan Wonocolo tepatnya berada di RT.04/RW.IV mendapatkan tamu istimewa. Yaitu para mahasiswa yang berasal dari Austria – Eropa.
Para mahasiswa dari daratan Eropa ini merupakan para mahasiswa pertukaran antar negara sahabat yang sedang menuntut ilmu di Kota Surabaya. Dalam momen ini mereka banyak belajar tentang berbagai khasiat tanaman obat keluarga (TOGA) yg berada di sepanjang Gang K.H. Zubair ini.
Mereka tidak sungkan untuk bertanya, mempelajari berbagai jenis dam khasiat tanaman-tanaman tropis. Disisi lain, para Mahasiswa Luar Negeri ini juga memperhatikan perilaku dan kegiatan keseharian warga yang bisa tetap semangat untuk memelihara dan mengelola kebun gizi.
Marta, salah seorang dari mereka menyampaikan “People here are very enthusiastic about protecting the environment to remain green” (warga disini sangat antusias dalam menjaga lingkungan agar tetap hijau *red),” tuturnya.

They did not hesitate to ask questions, learn about the benefit and various types of the tropical plants. On the other hand, the foreign students also pay attention to the behavior and activities of everyday life of the community who can keep the spirit of maintaining and managing the nutrient garden.
