MEDAN. Masih dalam rangka memperingati Pekan ASI Sedunia, Klinik Pratama RBG (Rumah Bersalin Gratis) Rumah Zakat cabang Medan bersama Asosiasi Ibu Menyusui Indonesia (AIMI) menggelar kegiatan Kelas Edukasi ASI di gedung Klinik, Jl. Setia Budi No. 46, Tanjung Sari pada (11/08).
Kegiatan yang dimulai pada pukul 08.00 pagi ini digelar bersamaan dengan kegiatan Posyandu. Posyandu sendiri merupakan agenda rutin Klinik yang digelar pada tanggal 11 setiap bulannya.
“Kegiatan Kelas ASI spesial memperingati Pekan ASI ini sengaja kami gelar bersamaan dengan Posyandu agar peserta Posyandu juga bisa mendapatkan materi Kelas ASI,” tutur GA Klinik RBG, Yulia Sari.
Acara dibuka oleh Public Health officer Cita Sehat, Dina sebagai mitra Rumah Zakat dalam pengelolaan Klinik. Setelah itu, kegiatan dilanjut dengan pendaftaran balita, pengukuran berat badan serta tinggi badan balita dan pemberian Vitamin A.
Usai pelaksanaan Posyandu, kegiatan dilanjut dengan Kelas Edukasi ASI yang dipandu oleh perwakilan Asosiasi Ibu Menyusui Indonesia (AIMI), Husnita dan Eka Maya Sari. Tema edukasi kali ini yaitu “Kunci Sukses Menyusui”. Kedua narasumber menjelaskan tentang kiat-kiat untuk dapat menyusui buah hati mereka hingga maksimal usia 2 tahun.

[:en]MEDAN. In order to commemorate World Breastfeeding Week, RBG Pratama Clinic (Free Maternity CLinic) of Rumah Zakat Medan with Indonesian Breastfeeding Association (AIMI) held Breastfeeding Education Class at Clinic building, Jl. Setia Budi No. 46, Tanjung Sari on (11/08).
The event that started at 08.00 was simultaneously held with Posyandu activities. Posyandu itself is a routine Clinic agenda that is held on the 11th of every month.
“Special Breastfeeding Class event is to commemorate World Breastfeeding Week, we deliberately titled together with Posyandu in order posyandu participants can also get the material of Breastfeeding Class,” said GA Clinic RBG, Yulia Sari.
The event was opened by Public Health officer of Cita Sehat, Dina as Rumah Zakat partner in Clinical management. After that, the activities continued with the registration of children under five, weight measurement and height of children under five and giving vitamin A.
After the implementation of Posyandu, the activity was continued with Breastfeeding Education Class which was guided by representatives of Indonesia Breastfeeding Association (AIMI), Husnita and Eka Maya Sari. The theme of this edition is “The Key to Successful Breastfeeding “. Both speakers explained about the tips to be able to breastfeed their baby up to a maximum age of 2 years.
