CIMAHI. Rabu, (15/11) merupakan hari pertama “Having Fun With Science” Class. kelas ini merupakan kelas untuk memfasilitasi siswa yang memiliki minat yang besar dalam pembelajaran IPA. kelas yang di bimbing oleh Rika Ulfiati ini diikuti oleh siswa mulai kelas 2 sampai kelas 6.
“Para siswa dibagi dalam 3 level, level I untuk kelas 1 dan 2, level II untuk kelas 3 dan 4 sementara level III untuk kelas 5 dan 6” ujar Rika.
Dalam pertemuan perdana tersebut para siswa mencoba beberapa eksperimen sains, seperti “volcano eruption”, membuat plastisin, minyak dan air, Balon yang tahan api dan balon mengembang tanpa ditiup. Selain praktik langsung setiap melakukan percobaan siswa diminta memberikan hipotesa/dugaan awal dan kesimpulan setelah percobaan dilakukan. Hal ini selain untuk mengasah pemahaman tentang sain juga melatih kemampuan bernalar siswa.
“Selama kegiatan berlangsung setiap siswa begitu antusias bahkan anak kelas bawah tidak canggung berlomba dengan kakak kelas” tambah Rika.
Reward pun diberikan kepada kelompok peserta terbaik, selain itu para siswa berkesempatan untuk mengikuti berbagai olimpiade sains yang akan diikuti sekolah.

Cimahi[:en]CIMAHI. Wednesday, (15/11) is the first day of “Having Fun With Science” Class. This class is a class to facilitate students who have a great interest in science. The class that is guided by Rika Ulfiati is followed by students from 2nd to 6th grade.
“The students are divided into 3 levels, level I for 2nd and 6th grade, level II for 3rd and 4th grade while level III for class 5nd and 6th grade “said Rika.
In the inaugural meeting, the students tried several science experiments, such as “volcano eruption”, Making plastisin, oil and water, fireproof balloons and balloons expanding without being blown. In addition to direct practice each student’s experiment is asked to give hypotheses / initial guesses and conclusions after the experiment. This is in addition to sharpen the understanding of science also train students’ reasoning abilities.
“During the activity students are so enthusiastic that even the juniors are not awkward to race with the seniors” added Rika.
Reward was given to the best group of participants, in addition the students had the opportunity to follow various science olympiads that school will follow.
