JAKARTA. Menurut teori umum, komunikasi adalah penyampaian pesan dari komunikator kepada komunikan. Guru yang baik, tidak hanya mampu menyampaikan tetapi juga menjadi pendengar yang baik. SD Juara Jakarta Timur binaan Rumah Zakat, berinisiatif mengadakan pelatihan guru yang bertemakan “How to Deal Communication to Student’s Parents and Work Partner” Senin (14/08) pukul 13.00 hingga 15.00 WIB.
Pelatihan yang membahas mengenai tips dan trik agar guru berhasil menjadi komunikator unggul bagi siswa dan orang tua. Farid Fadli, akrab disapa Awit untuk kedua kalinya berbagi inspirasi tentang metode komunikasi efektif.
Pertama, Awit menyampaikan bahwa komunikasi menyampaikan tiga hal. Pikiran, data dan emosi. Kedua, trainer pendidikan Global Mandiri ini memberikan tips dan trik. Sebaiknya guru mengetahui tiga hal sebelum berkomunikasi antara lain Preparation (persiapan), communication skills (kemampuan komunikasi) dan external factors (faktor-faktor eksternal). Ketiga, fokus, imajinasi dan emosional guru wajib diperhatikan sehingga siswa dan orang tua merasa dihargai sebagai manusia.
“Kunci keberhasilan komunikasi sebenarnya, bukan terletak pada bahasa verbal atau lisan. Justru, bahasa non verbal seperti gesture (bahasa tubuh), timing (waktu), ekspresi dan lain sebagainya.”, tambah Awit.
Guru kelulusan S2 Sejarah Universitas Indonesia ini memberikan pelatihan dengan metode angket, games, dan simulasi. Guru-guru diberikan angket pemahaman mengenai apa itu komunikasi, mengapa membutuhkan komunikasi efektif dan bagaimana komunikasi yang efektif.
Simulasi komunikasi yang efektif pun diberikan Awit. Guru- guru dibagi dua kelompok menjadi kelompok komunikator (penyampai pesan) dan kelompok komunikan (pendengar). Simulasi seru tersebut diapresiasi guru kelas 3, Butet Sri Yanti yang berkomentar, “Seru nih traingnya, saya dapat tips dan trik menjadi penyampai pesan dan sekaligus pendengar yang baik.”

SD Juara of East Jakarta that built by Rumah Zakat took the initiative to conduct teacher training with the theme of “How to Deal Communication to Student’s Parents and Work Partners” on Monday (14/08) at 13:00 to 15:00 pm.
The training was talking about tips and tricks for teachers to become excellent communicators for students and parents. Farid Fadli, familiarly called Awit for the second time shared his inspiration about effective communication methods.
First, Awit said that communication conveys three things: Thoughts, data and emotions. Secondly, this Mandiri Global education trainer provides tips and tricks. Teachers should know three things before communicating such as Preparation, communication skills and external factors. Third, the teacher’s focus, imagination and emotion must be observed so that students and parents feel appreciated as human beings.
“The key to the real success of communication is not in verbal or spoken languages,” said Awit. He also provided training with questionnaires, games, and simulation methods.
Teachers are given a questionnaire of understanding about what communication is, why it requires effective communication and how to build effective communication.
An effective communication simulation was also given. Teachers were divided into groups of communicators (messengers) and groups of communicants (listeners). The exciting simulation was appreciated by the 3rd grade teacher, Butet Sri Yanti, “the training is exciting, I can have lots of tips and tricks to be a messenger and a good listener.”
