PEKANBARU, RZ distributed some assistance to the wildfire location Danau village, Indragiri Hilir, Riau on Saturday (15/3). The distribution was lead by the Pekanbaru RZ’s Head Program, Rico Ayatul Yuza. The distributed assistances are 200 Superqurban packages and 30 water tanks to contain the clean water.
The wildfire incident in Danau village was the aftermath of the fires that occurred in Riau. The incident which was occurred two weeks ago had burned 74 houses of the local residents. The wildfire victims are evacuated to the handmade simple tents because they are not received the assistance from the local government.
The local residents said that the incident was happened because of the sparks from the burning land around the Danau village. Until now the victims really need logistic assistance to rebuild their burned houses. They also really need blankets and decent tents to live before they complete to rebuild their own house. Moreover, they also need clean water because the water quality is bad in the summer.
