SURABAYA, Juara elementary school held an outing class in the west part of Wonorejo nursery garden Surabaya on Thursday (20/3). This activity was attended by fourth grade and fifth grade students of Sekolah Juara.
In this activity the heroism material was explained by the speaker to all participants. The speakers of this activity is the members of Roodebrug (Jembatan Merah) community; the community which concerns with the relics of history. It also corresponds with the Indonesian veterans especially in Surabaya.
In this activity the students had an opportunity to listen to the histories of how Indonesian heroes seized theirs independence. All the speakers also motivated all the students to be a hero even though today is different from the past. They encouraged the students to study hard, work hard, and to be an achiever for their country.
After the motivation session which was delivered by the Roodebrug activists done. The students were invited to join outbound activity which was guided by the RZ’s volunteers. In the last session of this activity the students were encouraged to keep studying for facing the middle semester examination.
