JAKARTA, Kebun Gizi Mandiri won the Indonesia MDGs Award (IMA) 2013 for the nutrition category. This program was launched by Cita Sehat Foundation (CSF) one of the member of Rumah Zakat (RZ) to utilize fallows as an access of nutritional needs.
“Alhamdulillah the efforts of Kebun Gizi Mandiri team are appreciated by the MDGs’s because this program is in accordance with one millennium development goals namely eradicated extreme poverty and hunger. It also preserves the environment.” Dian Chaerani, the CSF Director said on Tuesday (18/3).
Dian said that the appreciation toward Kebun Gizi Mandiri team could not be separated from the RZ’s support and guidance to succeed this program. “We would like to thank to RZ as the institution which has experienced for 15 years in the empowerment for the supervision. It’s our victory.” Dian said.
In addition to CSF for its Kebun Gizi Mandiri, RZ also received two nominations for its Superqurban Cornet and Business assistance program. “Alhamdulillah Superqurban Cornet which has been distributed across the regions and counties is nominated in the Indonesian MDGs Award 2013. So that for the Business Assistance because these programs are considered as the program which in accordance with the millennium development goals.” Nur Effendi, CEO of RZ, said.
