PEKANBARU. As a form of awareness to the smoke disaster victims in Riau, especially in Pekanbaru, Pekanbaru RZ’s Free Maternity Clinic (RGB) distributed free mask to the local resident in Sukajadi on Saturday (15/3).
Around 1000 pieces of masks were distributed to the local residents and in the same time they were trained how to wear the correct mask. This action was lead by RZ’s RGB Head program Fitri Yana and she was assisted by 5 Pekanbaru RZ’s volunteers. Previously, RGB RZ had distributed masks on the streets, schools, and mosques around Pekanbaru.
In addition to distribute masks, RBG RZ also announced that the local residents should check their health condition in RGB RZ clinic to ensure that they secure from the poisonous particles from the smoke. Yana said that RGB RZ also distributed around 100 healing coupons and fruit package to the local residents.
One of the local residents who work as a mechanic feels pleasant toward RBG RZ which has distributed the masks for free. He hopes that it can help the people to anticipate the negative impact from the smoke. He also expects that RZ always in advance on responding negative cases especially in Pekanbaru.
