BANDUNG – Rumah Zakat held a healthy exercise activity and distributed fruits and vegetables on Jalan Panembakan RT 6 RW 6, Padasuka. This event was attended by around 50 elderly PM (Beneficiaries) who received free health checks and assistance in the form of fresh vegetables and fruits, Monday (10/6).
This activity began with healthy exercise guided by experienced instructors, followed by a health check including blood pressure checks, blood sugar levels, and general health consultations. After that, the elderly received fruit and vegetable packages that are expected to help maintain their health.
One of the beneficiaries, Yuyun expressed her gratitude to Rumah Zakat for the assistance provided. “I am very grateful to Rumah Zakat for holding this activity. The health check and assistance in the form of vegetables and fruits are very useful for us,” she said.
This activity is part of Rumah Zakat’s routine program which aims to improve the quality of life of the elderly and ensure they get proper access to health care. Rumah Zakat hopes that through activities like this, the elderly can feel significant benefits for their health.
“This healthy exercise not only provides physical fitness, but also happiness and enthusiasm for the elderly. We hope to continue to hold activities like this regularly,” said a representative from Rumah Zakat.
