ENVIRONMENT & DISASTER

In the field of environment and disaster, Rumah Zakat also participates in responding to every disaster event, mitigating & preventing disaster risks.

At the end of 2021, various activities in the humanitarian and disaster sector were carried out, namely 706 National Disaster Preparedness Actions. Thanks to the care of donors in the disaster action, Rumah Zakat was able to help 322,572 beneficiaries.

SHARE THE WATER OF LIFE

It is a program to distribute clean water aid to people who are experiencing drought and have difficulty getting clean water.

This program is implemented in the form of distributing 10,000-20,000 liters of clean water assistance to around 100 beneficiaries in one distribution.

WASTE BANK

It is a community empowerment activity based on waste management in the community’s living environment. The aim of this program is to educate and invite people to actively sort waste, educate and invite people to be active in maintaining the cleanliness and beauty of the environment and forming a Waste Bank community.

This program is implemented in the form of rental of activity venues, procurement of waste bank equipment and supplies, environmental service work and procurement of community cleaning facilities, operations, uniforms, handicraft training and organic waste processing training.

ENERGY TREE

It is a disaster mitigation program in the form of planting trees as an effort to preserve and green the environment and reduce air pollution.

In one implementation, 300 tree seedlings will be planted in the Berdaya Rumah Zakat Village area.
