YOGYAKARTA. Kekeringan melanda Dusun Gebang, Desa Girisuko, Kecamatan Panggang, Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Kondisi mengkhawatirkan ini bukan hanya karena jarangnya terjadi hujan, juga karena kondisi tanah berupa batu-batuan kapur. Sehingga warga kesulitan menemukan sumber mata air. Di bulan-bulan kemarau seperti sekarang, maka untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air warga harus iuran untuk membeli air bersih.
Ahad (27/05) untuk membantu warga, Rumah Zakat menyalurkan air bersih sebanyak 56.000 liter untuk warga Desa Girisuko. Sebelumnya bantuan serupa juga telah disalurkan untuk warga Dusun Dempul.
Menerima bantuan ini, warga sangat bersyukur, setidaknya dalam beberapa waktu ke depan dan terutama saat bulan Ramadhan ini kebutuhan air tercukupi.
“Alhamdulilah, kebutuhan air selama beberapa hari kedepan bisa terpenuhi. Terimaksih Rumah Zakat,” ujar salah satu warga Girisuko.

This worrying condition is not only because of the rare occurrence of rain, also because of the soil conditions in the form of limestone rocks. So people find it difficult to find the source of the springs. In the dry months as it is now, to meet the water needs, residents have to contribute to buy clean water.
Sunday (27/05) to help the people, Rumah Zakat distributed 56,000 liters of clean water to the villagers of Girisuko Village. Previously, similar aid has also been distributed to Dempul residents.
Accepting this assistance, residents are very grateful, at least in some time to come and especially during Ramadan water requirement is fulfilled.
“Alhamdulilah, the water needs for the next few days can be fulfilled,” said one of Girisuko villagers.
