SURABAYA. Warga di Wonocolo sebagai wilayah implementasi program sosial Rumah Zakat mulai menggarap lahan Kebun Gizi. Lokasi lahan kebun gizi berada di Rt 08, RW 04, Kelurahan Jemuwonosari. Lahan tersebut merupakan lahan hibah dengan luas 90 meter dari salah satu perusahaan di wilayah Wonocolo. Selasa (09/01/2018)
“Awal mula kebun gizi hadir di wilayah Wonocolo dari warga RT 04 Jemurwonosari yang sukses menggarap kebun gizi sebelumnya. Warga yang berada di RT 08 menjadi tertarik dan akhirnya bersama pemerintah setempat mencoba bernegosiasi kepada pemilik lahan tersebut,” papar Zirzi, Public Health Cita Sehat sebagai mitra implementator Rumah Zakat dalam program kesehatan.
Meski belum diresmikan, warga mulai antusias membersihkan lahan Kebun Gizi yang baru. Zirzi juga mendorong Ketua RW setempat untuk membuat Kelompok Tani sehingga kebun gizi dapat dikelola secara konsisten oleh warga.
“Selain untuk ketahanan pangan, Kebun Gizi ini juga bisa kita jadikan sebagai wadah atau tempat warga berinteraksi tentunya. Semoga kedepannya istiqomah dan pembentukan Kebun Gizi ini sukses,” tutur Moh Hidayat (38 tahun), Ketua RW 5.

“The beginning of nutrition garden is present in Wonocolo area from the community of RT 04 Jemurwonosari who successfully worked on nutrition garden. Residents who are in RT 08 become interested and finally together with the local government to try to negotiate to the land owner, “said Zirzi, Public Health Cita Sehat as a partner implementer Rumah Zakat in the health program.
Although not yet inaugurated, residents began enthusiastically clearing the new garden of Nutrition. Zirzi also encourages the local RW Chairman to create a Farmer Group so that the nutrition gardens can be managed consistently by the community.
“In addition to food security, Nutrition Garden is also able to make us as a container or place of interaction of course citizens. Hopefully the future of istiqomah and the establishment of Nutrition Garden is successful, “said Moh Hidayat (38 years), Chairman of RW 5.
