GORONTALO. Relawan Rumah Zakat menyalurkan bantuan untuk para korban bencana kebakaran di Dusun Talulobutu, Desa Titidu, Kecamatan Kwandang, Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara. Tiga rumah di Desa Titidu habis dilahap si jago merah. Kebakaran terjadi diduga akibat hubungan arus pendek listik di rumah tersebut.
Selasa (23/01/2018) malam, kebakaran terjadi sekitar pukul 19.15 waktu setempat. Akibat kencangnya angin, membuat api terus menjalar dan menghabiskan tiga rumah milik Zul Abdul Latif, Ida Suleman, dan H. Azis .
Dua unit mobil pemadam kebakaran milik Pemda Gorontalo Utara langsung mendatangi lokasi kejadian, dibantu warga setempat dengan alat seadanya namun tidak sempat memadamkan api yang sudah terlanjur menghabiskan tiga rumah tersebut. Tidak ada korban jiwa dalam kejadian ini, namun kerugian diperkirakan mencapai ratusan juta rupiah.
Relawan Nusantara Gorontalo yang berjumlah 5 orang bergerak pada pukul 11.00 WIB dengan penyaluran bantuan berupa pakaian layak pakai, Sembako, Seragam sekolah serta kebutuhan dapur, Rabu (24/01/2018). Hingga Pukul 14:00 WITA Relawan Nusantara Gorontalo dalam penyaluaran sinergi bersama Rema Muda Desa Titidu selesai menyalurkan semua bantuan kepada para Korban.
“Terima kasih atas bantuan dari Rumah Zakat, semoga dibalas dengan pahala dan keberkahan dari Allah SWT. Selanjutnya kami akan tinggal dengan kerabat dekat terlebih dahulu,” ungkap H. Azis (62 tahun).
