JEMBER. Sejumlah rumah di Desa Condro, Kec. Kaliwates tepatnya di RT 2, 3 dan 5 (RW8) tergenang banjir setinggi satu meter. Penyebab banjir tersebut karena hujan deras yang turun dan sungai tidak mampu menampung volume air yang sangat banyak pada hari Sabtu (06/01). Total ada 25 rumah terendam banjir, yakni 13 rumah di Condro, enam rumah di Kesek, dan enam rumah di Klanceng.
Minggu (07/01/2018), Relawan Rumah Zakat Jember bersama BPBd Kabupaten Jember melakukan aksi penyaluan bantuan berupa 11 paket sembako, 10 paket perlengkapan bayi, 11 paket biskuit dan 11 paket peralatan kebersihan kepada warga terdampak banjir di Desa Condro.
“Alhamdulillah. Terima kasih atas bantuannya. Bantuan ini sangat bermanfaat bagi warga Desa Condro,” ujar Pak Djono Kepala Dusun setempat.
“Pada hari (07/01) ini, Rumah Zakat berkoordinasi dengan BPBD. BPBD merespon dalam membantu penyaluran bantuan. Sekali lagi kami ucapkan terima kasih kepada Rumah Zakat, koordinasinya satu pintu dan data penyaluran dapat terdeteksi untuk laporan ke pihak yang berwenang tentang masalah kebencanaan. Semoga para dermawan yang menyalurkan amalnya melalui Rumah Zakat menjadi amal kebaikan yang dari Allah SWT. Aamiin,” ungkap Parmuji, perwakilan BPBD Jember.

The cause of the floods was due to heavy rainfall and the river was unable to accommodate a very large volume of water on Saturday (06/01). Sunday (07/01/2018), Volunteers of Rumah Zakat Jember together with BPBD Jember Regency carried out the action of aid channeling in the form of 11 packages of basic needs, 10 packages of baby supplies, 11 packages of biscuits and 11 packages of cleaning equipment to flood affected residents in Condro Village.
“Thank God for the help, it is very beneficial for the people of Condro Village,” said Mr Djono Head of hamlet.
“On this (07/01) day, Rumah Zakat coordinates with BPBD. BPBD responds to assist in the distribution of aid. Once again we thank the Rumah Zakat, its one-door coordination and channeling data can be detected for reports to the authorities on disaster issues.
