PALU. Sebanyak 4 orang Relawan Rumah Zakat melakukan aksi gabungan bersama Basarnas dan Korem (Komando Riset Militer) evakuasi jenazah Hari Senin (01/10) di daerah BTN Kelurahan Petobo, Kecamatan Palu Selatan, Kota Palu, Sulawesi Tengah.
Dalam evakuasi tersebut, tim menemukan 6 jenazah korban gempa. “Ada 500 rumah di perumahan BTN saat evakuasi ini ditemukan 6 jenazah. Identitas korban masih di identifikasi oleh pihak ahli,” tutur Nurmansyah Relawan Rumah Zakat.
Proses evakuasi di perumahan BTN sudah mulai sejak tanggal 30 September, dalam rentang waktu evakuasi tersebut ditemukan 12 jenazah. Jumlah keseluruhan mencapai 18 jenazah.
Perumahan di daerah Petobo ini berubah drastis menjadi perbukitan. Jalan raya yang datar dan lokasi perumahan yang luas sudah tidak bisa terlihat lagi karena aspal terbelah dan menggulung apa yang ada diatasnya.
Sehingga penampakan yang ada adalah tanah atau aspal yang berada diatas rumah. Perubahan permukaan jalan raya menjadi lebih tinggi 8 meter dari keadaan semula.
“Teman-teman bisa membayangkan sebuah blender, seperti itu lah gempa menggulung daerah petobo ini. Banyak korban yang terjepit di aspal dan terhimpit rumah. Pondasi di bawah menjadi di atas,” jelas Nurman.
Tim Rumah Zakat sudah ada di lokasi siap menyalurkan bantuan dari masyarakat untuk korban gempa dan tsunami di Sulawesi Tengah.

The evacuation process at BTN housing has started since September 30, within the period of evacuation, 12 bodies were found. The total number reached 18 bodies.
Housing in the Petobo area has changed dramatically into hills. A flat highway and a large housing location can no longer be seen because the asphalt splits and rolls up what’s on top.
So that the existing sightings are land or asphalt above the house, changes in the surface of the highway become 8 meters higher than the original state.
“You can imagine a blender, like that the earthquake rolled up the petobo area. Many victims were pinned on the asphalt and squeezed home. The foundation below becomes above, “explained Nurman.
Rumah Zakat team is already in the location ready to distribute aid from the community to the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Central Sulawesi.
